There is no need for us to speak for words could never have said what the meeting of our lips could after being absent for so long a time. Just a kiss and yet another joining of sorts, a signing and agreement that you and me could never be put far out of each others minds, If only this moment could last forever, our moment. But it is only a moment, and moments tend to be fleeting, memories that flutter through our lives. Just that moment made it all come back, you and me. The emptiness when we were out of each others reach, the gentle kisses and touches and the passionate embraces and words spoken, the laughter and all that we had, had together. Why? Why had been apart so long? Two halves of a pair which had been taken apart but were meant to be together, the two of us. For one is always the loneliest number.
